Earnest, age 73, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. He was born August 30, 1951 to Thomas and Ruby Earnest in Atlanta, Georgia. Joe is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Candi and Rickey Hall of Fairmount; grandsons, Colton Hall of Fairmount, Grayson Hall of Fairmount; sister, Dorothy Whittle of Loganville; brother, David Earnest of Eatonton. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Earnest; parents, Tom and Ruby Earnest; brothers, Tommy Earnest and Danny Earnest. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
