He was born April 10, 1932 to Sophie Borkan in Cape May, New Jersey. John is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Thompson and Frank Mack of Jasper; son, Michael Borkan; six grandchildren, Crystal, Amber, Bryan, Ed, Jennifer, and Nichole; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and daughter, Robin Rauf. Funeral Services will be held in Florence, South Carolina. Interment will be at Florence Memorial Gardens; 3320 South Cashua Drive; Florence, SC 29501.
