He was born October 19, 1961 to Oscar and Anna Chapman in San Diego, California. Guy proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Guy is survived by his wife, Juanita Fox Chapman of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Crysanna Chapman Hicks and Corey Hicks of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Jarrod and April Chapman of Jasper; and granddaughter, Madelyn Hicks of Jasper. Other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Rabun Chapman; and his mother, Anna Denson Chapman. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2024 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Kevin Roper and Larry Duncan officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Monday, June 10, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
