Johnny is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Angel of Waleska; son and daughter-in-law, Richard Lee and Lisa Angel; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Maggie Angel, Robert and Verette Angel, Bill Angel and Janie Holbrook, Walter and Nan Angel; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Frona Angel; brothers, Edward Angel and Jessie Angel. Services will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery at a later date. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until the funeral hour.
