He was born to John Clarence and Louise Wright on December 13, 1943 in Gilmer County. Larry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Wanda Wright of Jasper; niece and nephew, Susie and Steven Chapman; and other nephews, friends, and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Louise Wright; his brother, Jerry Wright; and his sister, Carolyn Garland. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Reverend Steven Chapman officiating. Pall Bearers will be Jacob Chapman, Nick Martins, nephew Jodi Payne, nephew Michael Garland, Ray Roberts, Russell Segars, Shane Townley. Honorary Pall Bearer will be nephew, Mitchell Garland. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The family requests that you do not bring food to the funeral home.
