Howell , 85, of Jasper, born April 30, 1936 passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, at Pruitt Health Hospice and Palliative Care. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, beloved siblings, and her loving husband, Ulysses "Beck" Howell. Judy is survived by her three sons, Victor Smith of Gary, Indiana, Don Howell (Robin) of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Ulysses "Joe" Howell (Deanna) of Cobb County, Georgia; three grandchildren, Joey (Christi) Smith of Talking Rock, Georgia, Alyce Howell and April Howell of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Ashton Smith, Georgia Smith all of Talking Rock, Georgia and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins. In celebration of Judy's life, the family will receive friends Tuesday, October 26 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Roper Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Georgia with Reverend Leland Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, Judy's family request donations be made to her home church, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
