Ann was born on May 1, 1950 to Sam and Molly Adams Watkins in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Ann was a caring, loving mother and loved her grandchildren. Ann was always willing to help, to cook with a smile on her face. Ann was one of the strongest women in the world She fought more battles than most people know about with a smile on her face until the very end. Ann is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Dean Beasley of Jasper; grandchildren, Ashley and John Davis of Talking Rock, Cory and Sheena Moss of Jasper, and Chris Beasley of Miami, Florida; great-grandchildren, Kolby Moss, Carder Moss, Kyla Moss, and Lane Davis; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Virlyn Estes of Jasper; brothers and sister-in-law, Johnny and Nancy Watkins of Jasper, Steve and Kathy Watkins. Other family members also survive. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Molly Watkins; son, Jerry Terrell Wigington, and brothers, Sonny Watkins and Larry Watkins. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
