She was born February 26, 1969 to Larry and Elone Ray in Jasper, Georgia. Kathy is survived by her daughter, Cassie Hill of Fairmount; son and daughter-in-law, CJ Hill and Jade Stokes of Fairmount; and special friend, Tommy Fowler of Ellijay. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by parents, Larry and Elone Ray; cousin, Sandy Godfrey; grandmother, Rena Mae Jordan; and grandmother, Grace Ray. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2026 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Chester officiating. The interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park in Jasper. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.; Monday, April 13, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
