He was born May 8, 1953 to Arco and Bertha Nell Jones in Tate, Georgia. Larry is survived by his wife, Trena Cagle Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Kolbie and Wesley Dobson; granddaughter, Olivia Miller; brother-in-law, T.J. Keener; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Terry and Glenda Cagle; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tammy and Scott Reed. Several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arco and Bertha Nell Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Virginia Jones; and sister, Judy Keener. Funeral Services will be held 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2023 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny McPherson and Reverend Scott Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tommy Jones, Brian Keener, Joey Jones, Frank Martin, Todd Coleman, David Johnson and Honorary Pallbearers are Nick Stewart and William Young. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in honor of Larry to Bethany Baptist Church.
