He was born February 21, 1947 to Ed and Grace Ray in Tate, Georgia. Larry is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Cliff Hill of Fairmount; son and daughter-in-law, Trennedy and Angela Ray of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Casie and C.J. Hill, Kaylee and Braylee Ray; sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce and Sam Wynn of Tate, Linda Ray of Jasper; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Martha Ray of Nelson, Marvin and Connie Ray of California, Randy and Lisa Ray of Yellow Creek. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elone Ray; mother, Grace Ray; father, Ed Ray; and brother, David Ray. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2022 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Steven Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in at Lake Forest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, September 30, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
