He was born February 20, 1954 to Winfred Eugene West and Alice M. Hampton West in Dalton, Georgia. Larry is survived by his son, Jessie Cole West of Dalton; granddaughter, Lilith Grey West of Dalton; sister, Wendy Horton of Lafayette; fiancé, Sandra Dunn of Jasper; uncle, Billy West of Dalton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Winfred Eugene West and Alice M. Hampton West. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Talking Rock Creek from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. The family would like to thank Sandra Dunn for taking care of Larry and to Affinity Hospice for the special care they gave to Larry.
