She was born December 27, 1976 to Steven and Wanda Pettit in Canton, Georgia. Leigha is survived by her parents, Steve and Wanda Pettit of Talking Rock; brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Shannan Pettit of Jasper; niece, Jozalyn Pettit of Jasper; and grandfather, Edward Pettit of Marietta. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Louie and Ethel Baker and grandmother, Kathleen Pettit. Services will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2022 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lake Forest Memorial Park on Camp Road. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
