She was born July 22, 1947 to Marion Perdue and Annie Jo Wood in Bonne Terre, Missouri. She became a Registered Nurse and worked at The Canton Hospital which is now Northside Cherokee. Linda is survived by her grandson, Lucas Morris; niece Melisa Lea of Seattle, Washington; mother Annie Jo Wood of Tate; niece, Tamara Lea of Stone Mountain; nephews, Richard Bettis of Seattle, Washington, Ryan Bettis of Stone Mountain; great-niece, Chloe Bettis; and great-nephews, William Blakely and John Blakely. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Andrew Morris; father, Marion Perdue Wood; sister, Sandra Jean Wood; and brother, Kevin Wood. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November18, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Jasper.
