She was born May 24, 1939 to Rufus Wesley and Etta Mae Blackwell in Marble Hill. Loretta is survived by her children, Debbie and Bobby Brooks of Ball Ground, Randy Brackett of Ball Ground, Freddy Brackett and Cherie Martin of Ball Ground, Carrie and John Hillhouse of Jasper; sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Ollie Holden of Ball Ground, Selma and Jimmy Dobson of Ball Ground, Carolyn and Gene Hyde of Ball Ground; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Eddie Brackett and son, Ronnie Brackett. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church with Reverend William Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, November 12, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
