She was born March 18, 1936 to Homer and Mandy Henderson in Ellijay, Georgia. She was married to Winfred "Wimp" Lamar Duckett. Mrs. Duckett is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lou Ann and William J. Owens of Jasper, Sandi and Mike Denson of Jasper; grandchildren, Jeremy Mullins, Shena Wilmarth, Holly Miller, Justin Denson; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Demmie and Lou Price of Kentucky; sister, Carolyn Mathews of Ohio; and sister-in-law, Lois Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Duckett; parents, Homer and Mandy Henderson; and eight brothers and sisters. A Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Kevin Roper officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mount Pisgah Cemetery Fund or Compassus Hospice Care.
