She was born May 13, 1964 to Francis Elbert and Arrie Pauline Arp in Pickens County. Margaret is survived by her sister, Virginia Arp of Jasper; brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgil and Wanda Arp of Blue Ridge; Melvin and Penny Arp of Jasper; and Kim Arp of Jasper. Several cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents Francis Elbert and Arrie Pauline Arp; brothers, Marvin Arp and Glenn Arp. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Free Hope Baptist Church in Jasper. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Monday, January 22, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
