Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Terry Thomason of Jasper, Rena and Randy Kirk of Alabama; son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Stacey Fleming of Jasper; daughter-in-law, Margaret Fleming Buchanan of Jasper; grandchildren, Heather Goss, Hali Roper, Alison and Blake Loggins, Erika and Tommy Jones, Jodi and Zach Thomas, Parker Fleming, Charlie Joe Fleming, Alli McGill, Jacob and Morgan Fleming, Sara and Justin Hamrick; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several other relatives. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Fleming; parents, Albert and Lorena Williams; son, Jaime Fleming; and 3 brothers. Services will be held Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Scott Price and David Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery at Philadelphia Church Road, Jasper, GA 30143. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
