Martha was born on October 17, 1927 in Marble Hill, Georgia to Edward and Lula Gayton Satterfield. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Sonya and Terry Purdom of Nelson, Susan and Doug Ayer of Commerce; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Davis; son, Paul Edward Davis; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
