She was born April 9, 1933 to Ed and Flora Belle Andrews in Tate. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Free Hope Baptist Church and was married for 70 years to Roger Rich who preceded her in death two weeks ago on July 20, 2024. Faye is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Joni Young of Canton; Judy and John Greer of Courtland, Alabama; granddaughter, Elizabeth Gurr and Josh of Dunwoody. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Roger Rich and son-in-law, Larry Young. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Free Hope Baptist Church with Reverend Autry Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The family asks no food be brought to the funeral home. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation for the love, support, and medical care received from the staff of Compassus Hospice.
