Mary Helen Free, age 85, of Jasper, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024 at Pruitt Health Care in Jasper, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Hershel and Willie Mae Eller; brother, Joe Eller; and sister, Pat White.

Mrs. Free is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Eugene Free of Jasper; daughter, Jeannine Lindsey and her fiance, Jr. Watkins of Ball Ground; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Pam Free of Epworth; sister, Judy Biddy of Austell; grandsons, Buddy Linderman of Epworth, Shaun Free & Randi Foster of McCaysville, and John Lindsey of Dahlonega. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 29, 2024 at Jerusalem Baptist Church with Reverend Thomas Wheeler, Reverend Grant Wade, and Reverend James Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday April 29, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
