Mrs. Hill was born June 30, 1938 in Dalton, Georgia to her late parents, Charlie H. and Roxie Ann Spence Dollar. She worked for Eastside Carpet as an office manager and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Hill is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Sherry Hill of Jasper; granddaughter, Katie Johnson and her husband, Daniel, of Lexington, South Carolina; great-grandsons, Bodhi Johnson and Rowan Johnson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald W. Hill; sisters, Dorothy Parker White and Annie Wimpey and brother, Charlie Dollar. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 12:00 noon at New Hope - Kilgore Cemetery located at 1273 New Hope Road; Chatsworth, GA 30705 with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 922 E. Morris St; Dalton, GA 30721 or at www.alz.org in memory of Mrs. Hill.
