She was born April 6, 1935 to Brantley and Blanche Guillebeau in Pickens, South Carolina. Mrs. Hobgood was a devoted elementary school teacher whose passion for education touched countless young lives. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa teachers sorority and held leadership positions in the organization. Above all, she was a loving mother who raised three children with unwavering care and dedication. She was also devoted to loving and nurturing with excellence her five grandchildren. Mrs. Hobgood is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harold "Hal" Edward Quinn III and Elizabeth of Huntsville, Alabama; daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Nancy Lefever Childree and Dr. Bob Childree of Jasper; daughter, Vicky Lajesse of McDonough; brother John Edward Guillebeau of Harlem; sister-in-law, Susan Guillebeau of Harlem; grandchildren, Eduardo Quinn of Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Daniel Edward Lefever of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Joseph Christopher Lefever of Denver, Colorado, James Kenneth Lefever of Marietta, Francesca Thompson of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edward Quinn; husband, Hoyt Lee Hobgood; parents, Brantley and Blanche Guillebeau; brother, Danny Guillebeau; sister-in-law, Venera Guillebeau. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Roper Funeral Home and Crematory with Chaplain Scott Smith officiating. Interment will be 12:00 p.m., Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Harlem Memorial Cemetery. (310 S.
