Mick was born on August 19, 1956 in Tate, Georgia to the late Grady Sherman Priest and Fannie Priest Morrow. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Priest, and a sister, Rose Ree Priest. Mick enjoyed hunting and was an avid collector of a variety of things. Mick is survived by his wife, Theresa Fowler, son, Joe Patterson, and granddaughters, Jayda and Sarah Patterson. He is also survived by his stepsons, Kevan and Jeremy Remlinger and their children, as well as his siblings, Ronnie Priest of Canton, Glenn Priest of Jasper, Martie Weaver of Talking Rock, Auby Priest of Talking Rock, Timmy Priest of Talking Rock, and Jimmy Priest of Jasper. Several nieces and nephews and other family members also survive. A memorial service will be held after the first of the year at the Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Talking Rock, Georgia where Mick's ashes will be scattered over his mother and father's graves. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
