Nick was born October 7, 1988 to Tony and Rebecca Wood Rider in Marietta, GA. Nicholas loved his sons, Hudson and Heath so very much. Nick was an artist in every way; from working on cars to his love of music and nature. Survivors include: Fiance Anna Bell; sons: Hudson and Heath; parents: Rebecca and Ted Stahl; sisters: Heather Rider Battersby (Blair), Christie Rider, and Brooke Stahl; brothers and sister-in-law: Adam and Deanna Stahl and Tyler Stahl; aunts and uncles: Dennis and Lorna Wood, Debbie and Mike Aiken, and William and Oralee Ryder; niece: Audrey Battersby; nephew: Mason Battersby; cousins: Brandy Wood, Brian Wood, and Crystal Wood, and several nieces, nephews, and lifetime friends also survive. Nick was preceded in death by his father, Tony Alvin Rider; maternal grandparents: James and Geneva Wood and paternal grandparents Alvin and Hattie Rider; and uncle Kenneth Wood. Services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, February 22, 2026 from the chapel of Roper Funeral Home. The interment will follow in the Lake Forest Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers to serve are Steven Nichols, Santana Roberts, Adam Stahl, Logan Adkins, Blair Battersby, and Mason Battersby. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm and on Sunday from 11:00am until the funeral hour. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses and the future of Nick's children.
