She was born May 3, 1950 to Harlen and Mary Ann Kitchens in Atlanta, Georgia. Pamela is survived by her husband, Tommy Ackerman of Jasper; sons, Michael Ackerman of Morrison, Tennessee, George Ackerman of Fort Rucker, Alabama; and five grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Jasper United Methodist Church, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
