She was born September 9, 1934 to Lee and Eula Lathem in Tate, Georgia. Patsy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Colleen Stanfield of Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Reeder Burch of Jasper; grandchildren, Justin and Laura Beth Stanfield, Tyler and Lauren Stanfield, Tucker and Annie Burch, Luke Burch; great-grandchildren, Mason Stanfield, Ally Stanfield, Charlie Mae Stanfield, Remi Stanfield, Andi Stanfield, Amelia Burch, and Graham Burch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luke "Peanut" Stanfield. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 26, 2023 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Preston Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Jasper. Pallbearers will be Tucker Burch, Luke Burch, Justin Stanfield, Tyler Stanfield, Tommy Lathem, James Cox, Bill Lathem, and Mason Stanfield. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, May 26, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The family will accept flowers or contributions in memory of Patsy may be made to the First Baptist Church of Jasper.
