Peggy was born on August 9, 1940 in Jasper, GA to Tom and Lillie Mae Pittman Cagle. Peggy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Sherri Hulsey of Jasper; step-grandchildren, Kevin and Taylor Dyer, Evan Frady, and Haleigh Crump; nieces and nephews, Ben and Kim Gilleland, Rosemary Gilleland, David and Jan Bruce. Other family members also survive. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Townsend Cagle and Lillie Mae Pittman Cagle; husband, Sherman Eugene Hulsey; and sisters, Lois Gilleland and Betty Bruce. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, June 7, 2026 from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Grant Wade and Reverend Nolan Wade officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, 2540 Bethany Rd, Jasper, GA 30143. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery to Donna Sue Johnson at 4426 Waleska Hwy, Jasper, Ga 30143.
