Randy H. Kirk, age 70, of Vernon, AL, formerly of Talking Rock, GA, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at NMHS -South Marion in Winfield, AL. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel.

Randy was born on July 22, 1955 in Jasper, GA to the late Bennie Kirk and the late Shirley Mullinax Kirk. He was a 1973 graduate of Pickens High School in Jasper. Randy previously worked as a salesman at Shaw Supply Co. in Jasper and as a heavy equipment operator for Pickens County. He loved being outdoors, especially going hunting and fishing. He was very proud of his time as a musician with Southern Style Band in Talking Rock, GA. Randy loved his family dearly and cherished all the memories and time spent with them. His gentle and humble spirit will forever be missed.

Randy is survived by his wife, Rena Kirk of Sulligent, AL; daughters, Erika Jones (Tommy) of Caledonia, MS and Jodi Thomas (Zach) of Vernon, AL; grandchildren, Emily and Blake Byrd of Jasper, Ashtyn Jones of Jasper, Levi and Mac Thomas of Vernon, AL; great-grandchild, Colton Byrd of Jasper; brothers, Ricky (Shelia) Kirk of Jasper, Scott (Cindy) Kirk of Talking Rock; sisters-in-law, Dianne (Terry) Thomason of Jasper, Margaret Fleming Buchanan of Jasper; brother-in-law, Joey Fleming of Jasper. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Shirley Kirk.

A visitation will be held at Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
