He was born January 17, 1932 to David and Eunice Stewart in Jasper. Rembert is survived by his daughters, Sheila Butler of Talking Rock, Phylis Stewart of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Michael and Melissa Butler of Jasper, Christi and David Lawson of Talking Rock, Jana and Jason Holland of Talking Rock, Cassie and Brett Walburn of Fort Walton, Florida; nine great grandkids; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Karen Stewart of Talking Rock. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Stewart and son, Philip Stewart. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2022 at County Line Baptist Church with Reverend Jess Posey officiating. Interment will follow in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The family will accept flowers.
