Survivors include his wife, Teresa Parker of Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Dub Allen of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Brooke Allen of Jasper, Brandi and Brandon Price, Audry Allen of Ellijay; great-grandchildren, Logan Mathis, Eli Mathis; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Marie Parker of Canton, Buck and Ruth Parker of Jasper; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and JI Hyde of Talking Rock. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Salem Baptist Church with Reverend Adam Parker and Reverend Sam Mullinax officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. The family requests no food to be brought to the funeral home and masks be worn during visitation and funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
