He was born August 16, 1948 to James and Bessie Moore in Jasper. Roderick is survived by his daughters, Robin Moore of Jasper, Rodericka Moore of Jasper; sons, Bennie Andre Robinson of Cartersville, James Robinson of Jasper; wife, Kay F. Robinson of Jasper; sister, Pamela Zachery of Marietta; niece, Veronica Moore of Marietta; granddaughter, Destany Shim; grandsons, Dion Shim of Canton, Damon Shim of Jasper; great-granddaughter, Melanie Shim of Cartersville; granddaughters, Iternity Robinson of Calhoun and Ebony Robinson of Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Moore; mother, Bessie A. Moore; sister, Brenda Goss; brothers, James Goss and Kenny Goss. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Ithiel Jones officiating. He will lie-in-state at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Interment will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Georgia National Cemetery at 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA 30114. Pallbearers will be Dion Shim, Luke Paras, Isaiah Jorge, Dana Goss, Jeremiah Robinson, and Galen Robinson. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
