Ronnie is survived by daughters, Rhonda (Scott) Pope of Jasper, Stephanie Ray (Rodney Popham) of Ball Ground, Amanda and the late Steven Prather of Canton; grandchildren, Jordan Prather (Melissa) of Jasper, Jacob Prather (Samirah) of Jasper, Hannah (A.J.) Bray of Jasper, Henry Popham of Ball Ground; great grandchildren, Aliyah Jean Prather of Jasper, Dylan Steve of Jasper, Grayson Steve of Jasper, Lennon Steve of Jasper, Braxton Popham of Ball Ground and special friend, Kathy Towery. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Ray; mother, Frances Ray; and his wife, Jean E. Ray. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2023 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Max Caylor and Reverend Corey Rich officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
