She was born June 7, 1962 in Pickens County. Ree is survived by her siblings, Glenn Priest of Jasper, Ronnie Priest of Canton, Mick Priest of Talking Rock, Martie Weaver of Talking Rock, Auby Priest of Talking Rock, Timmy Priest of Talking Rock, and Jimmy Priest of Jasper. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Priest and Fannie Priest Morrow; and her brother, Dennis Priest. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Town Creek Baptist Church Outdoor Pavilion in Talking Rock, Georgia. The family asks anyone who wishes to send flowers, bring a small potted plant or small arrangement to the service. Anyone who wishes to bring a food dish is invited to do so. Also the family would like for everyone to wear purple in honor of Ree. Ree's ashes will be scattered over her mother and father's graves in the church cemetery.
