She was born June 3, 1932 to Howard and Blanche Cagle in Jasper. Ruthalee is survived by her nieces, Tammy and Scott Reed of Jasper, Trena Jones and Chuck Cody of Jasper; nephews, Terry and Glenda Cagle of Jasper, Bill and Cameron Harrison of Powder Springs, Van and Renee Harrison of Powder Springs; bonus niece, Brandi Couch of Jasper; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond and Ruth Taylor of Jasper; and sister-in-law, Patsy Taylor of the Clayton Community. Several other great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert Taylor; her parents, Howard and Blanche Cagle; her brother and sister-in-law, Guy and Peggy Cagle; and her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and William Harrison. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2026 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Brother David Jones and Reverend Buck Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Harrison, Van Harrison, Scott Reed, Isaiah Roberts, Phillip Taylor, and Jimmy Taylor. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, January 9, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Bethany Baptist Church.
