Sharon is survived by her husband, William Young II of Jasper; daughter, Stacie Lyn Young of Jasper; sisters, Kimberly and Bryan Sowell of Arnold, MO, Sandra Lee Kretschmar of Fenton, MO; stepsisters, Brenda and Joel Summer, Linda and Dick Taylor, Debbie Stewart; sister-in-law, Carolyn Young of North Carolins; niece, Ashley Bagley (Dustin) of Arnold, MO; nephews, Thomas Carl Kretschmar, Jr, Joseph Bradley Kretschmar, Kenneth Francis Kretschmar (Angie); niece, Marty and Mike Franklin of North Carolina; nephew, Charlie and Carla Young of North Carolina; nephew, Julian and Kim of Georgia; honorary grandchildren, Brynden, Colt, Ashlen, Alyssa, Mikah, Kaiden, Jace and Laila. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Aliene Kretschmar; father, Ken Kretschmar; brother, Thomas Carl Kretschmar; stepmother, Alta Kretschmar, and stepbrother, Eddie Stewart. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, December 1, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The family will be accepting flowers.
