She was born September 29, 1963 to Jack and Mary Lou Woody in Canton, Georgia. Sherrie is survived by her husband, Eric Childers of Talking Rock; mother Mary Lou Woody of Fairmount, stepfather, Thomas Stephens of Talking Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Kodi Carnes of Calhoun; daughter, Ashley Carnes of Fairmount; brother, Anthony Woody of Fairmount; sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Dwaine Walters of Fairmount; grandchildren, Khloe Carnes, Kailey Carnes, Hannah Carnes, Bryson Carnes, Ayden White; nephews, Cameron Crider, Jesse Crider, Tyler and Autumn Woody, James Woody. She was preceded in death by father, Jack Woody and daughter, Kristie Leonard. Sherrie was a shining light to everyone she met. (Mama) A Memorial Service is being planned for a future date.
