She was born December 11, 1937 to Coleman and Ollie Mullinax in Tate, Georgia. Shirley is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Rena Kirk of Vernon, Alabama, Ricky and Sheila Kirk of Jasper, Scott and Cindy Kirk of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Wesley Kirk, Seth and Pamela Kirk, Erika and Tommy Jones, Jodi and Zach Thomas; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several other family members and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Coleman and Ollie Mullinax. A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024 in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 2:30 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in remembrance of Shirley.
