Medical Center in Decatur. Stephen is survived by his wife, Dakota Richards of Jasper; son, Jordan Richards of Jasper; father and mother, Douglas and Brenda Richards of Ellijay; sister and brother-in-law, Cherish and Paul Twigg of Jacksonville, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Kerri and Jon Henderson of Ellijay; brother, Daniel Richards of Ellijay; sister, Sara Richards of Jacksonville, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Kaitlin and Darrin Canote of Rome; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Danny and Carolyn Childers of Talking Rock; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lauren and Chris Saxon of Canton. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, October 24 2021 at Woodstock Church of Jasper with Reverend Eddie Rhodes officiating.
