Steve was born October 9, 1972 to Gid and Frances Olsen in Atlanta, Georgia. Steve is survived by his wife, Ashleigh Olsen of Jasper; son, Andrew Olsen (Ashlynn) of Canton; son, Wyatt Olsen (Addi Kilgore) of Canton; daughter, Olivia Olsen of Jasper; grandchildren, Charlotte Olsen, Cambry Olsen; mother, Frances Olsen of Jasper; sister, Wendy Holloway of Jasper; brother, Mike Olsen of Jasper. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert "Gid" Olsen. Steve lived his life spending time with his family, working outdoors, and following the Golden Rule. Those who knew Steve will remember him as a loving, kind, compassionate and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and loyal friend. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. (Central Time), Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Taylor Cemetery in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee with Mark Mitton officiating. Pallbearers include Mark Roland, Patrick Forrester, Chuck Wigington, Lester Sanders, Chad Logan, and Allen Schumann along with honorary pallbearers, Larry Watson and Antonio Cano. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
