She was born September 12, 1962 in Tate, Georgia. Tammy is survived by her mother, Carolyn Padgett Brown of Cherry Log; father and step-mother, Douglas and Pam Stancil of Jasper; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Tammy Stancil of Jasper; sister, Terri Bird of Jasper; brother, Tracy Stancil of Jasper; brother, Thomas Stancil of Cherry Log; step-sister, Ira Boynton of Canton; daughter, Anna Pickett of Jasper; and son, Hays Pickett of Jasper. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her companion, Ricky Chadwick; step-mother, Carolyn Richards Stancil; step-father, Ken Brown; nephew, Jacob Hollifield; and step-sister, Cassie Suter. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The family ask that no flowers or food be sent to the funeral home.
