He was born August 1, 1944 to Clifford and Cleo Pendley in Marble Hill, Georgia. Terry is survived by his wife, Brenda Pendley of Dawsonville; daughter, Janice Champion; granddaughter, Jana Champion; grandson, Bo Champion; step-children, Stevie Painter (Brandy King), Kimberly Scruggs (Aubrey Scruggs), John Painter (Cindy Ramsey); step-grandchildren, Rachel Simmons, Jonathan Simmons, Eric Simmons, Andi Millwood, Lexis and Rylan; siblings, Colleen Slaton and Naomi Baldwin. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Wilburn Pendley, Winell Ingram, Marie Higgins, Shirley Herndon. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Buck Parker and Reverend Curtis Roper officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellijay, Georgia. Pall bearers will be Bo Champion, Jabo Patterson, Drew Patterson, Denny Jarrett, David Evans, Daniel Truitt.
