"Tabby" Carroll, age 75, of Tate, Georgia passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at his home. He was born April 21, 1949 to Robert and Vivian Carroll in Ellijay. T.O. is survived by his wife, Annette Carroll of Tate; son, Wade Carroll of Tate; son and daughter-in-law, Neal and Dawn Carroll of Jerusalem; daughters and sons-in-law, Brandy and Paul Shoemake of Marble Hill, Tracy and Ronnie Jones of Hinton, Nicole and Ryan Doody of Jasper; four grandchildren, Sidney, Naomi, Christina, Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Owen, Ava, Haden, Lila Ann, and one-on-the-way, Elisha; sisters, Judy Webb Colwell, Lynette Carroll; brothers, Joe Carroll, Ernie Carroll. Several nieces, nephews, friends, and the members of Refuge Baptist Church also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Vivian Davenport Carroll and Robert Carroll; several brothers; and grandson, Tony Carroll. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2024 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. The interment will follow in the Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
