Roper Funeral Home and Crematory 206 Holly St Jasper, GA 30143 (706) 253-7500 Thomas (Tom) Lee Henry, formerly of Indiana, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home in Jasper, Georgia, on Thursday, July 16, 2026 surrounded by his loving family after a short illness. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to his family and friends. Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Polly Henry; his stepchildren, Jim Lawrence (Christine) and Robert Lawrence (Anne); his cherished grandchildren, Caleb Lawrence and Gabrielle Lawrence; and many beloved nieces and nephews, all of whom will treasure his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Mildred Henry; his sisters, Meda DelFosse, Jean Wilson, Helen DeMetro, and Pat Woods; his brothers, Bill Henry and Ricky Strickland; and his stepson, John Lawrence. Tom will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, his gentle spirit, and the many lives he touched. A Memorial Service will be held 9:00 am, Monday, August 3, 2026 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. The cemetery address is 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA 30114. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Tom's memory to the American Cancer Society.
