He was born September 6, 1949 to Thomas and Myra Holland Sr. in Rockmart, Georgia. Thomas is survived by his wife, Lisa Holland of Jasper; daughter, Kelly Shea Matthews of Hohenwald, Tennessee; son, Thomas Daniel Holland of Marietta; sister, Jane; mother-in-law, Grace Oakley of Young Harris; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bud and Dana Ferguson of Marietta; nephew, Chase Ferguson of Denver, Colorado; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronnie Davis and Meg Oakley of Dallas; nephew, Michael Smith of McDonough; niece, Morgan Smith Gressel of Austell; great-niece, Amelia Gressel of Austell; and beloved dachshund, Harley. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter or the humane society in Mr. Holland's honor. A graveside service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery, 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
