He was born February 23, 1950 to Wendall and Lela Belle Watson in Holly Springs. Thomas is survived by his wife, Barbara Watson of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tiffany Watson of Jasper; stepchildren, Josh Bail of Jasper, Michael Bail of Jasper, Jessica Byess of Jasper, Michelle Godfrey of Jasper; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Harry Reed of Waleska; fourteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Several other relatives and friends also survive. Sanford and Son Memorial Cruise-In will be held May 14, 2022 at The Mill at Etowah in Canton.
