He was born September 27, 1968 to Jim Pye Jr. and Marie Pye in Tate, Georgia. Tommy is survived by his father, Jim Pye Jr.; mother, Marie Pye of Jasper; daughter, Tionna Pye of Texas; aunts and uncles, Virginia Pye, Dr. Leon Pye, Vivian Chatman, Sandra Pye Thomas, April Pye, Louise Rankin, Evelyn Lucille Caldwell, Joyce Dorsey, Ina Howell, Jackie Howell; special friends, Veronica Jones and DeShawn Futrell. A host of cousins and other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by his sister, Arsenior Pye; grandparents, Jim Pye Sr. and Carolyn Pye; grandparents, E. L. and Willie Mae Howell. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Ralph Steed (New Hope Baptist Church) officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
