He was born January 17, 1936 to William Sim Stephens and Ida Flora Stephens in Adairsville, Georgia. Tommy is survived by step-son, Eric Childers of Talking Rock; son, Gary Stephens of Calhoun; grandson, Andy Childers and Amanda Gray of Ranger; great grand daughters: Kaitlyn, Karma, and Shelby Gray; great great grandson: Matthew Gray; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Barry and Denzel Bowman of Talking Rock and sister-in-law, Ethel Long of Talking Rock. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Long Stephens; parents, Sims and Ida Dutton Stephens; and brother, William Stephens.
