She was born December 2, 1946 to Elbert and Pauline Arp in Fannin County. Virginia is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgil and Wanda Arp of Blue Ridge, Melvin and Penny Arp of Jasper; sister-in-law, Kim Arp of Jasper; uncle, Daniel Arp of Norcross; aunt, Margie Indelicato of Marietta. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Pauline Arp; brother, Marvin Arp; brother, Glenn Arp; and sister, Margaret Arp. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2026 at Free Hope Baptist Church with Reverend Grant Wade, Reverend Daryl Bailey, and Reverend Nathan Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, January 16, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m.. The family will accept flowers or memorial donations may be made to the Burnt Mount Center at 515 Pioneer Road; Jasper, Georgia 30143 or Free Hope Baptist Church.
