Young, age 69, of Jasper, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024 at her home. She was born July 28, 1955 to Roy and Ruth Barber in Canton, Georgia. Wanda is survived by her husband, Larry Young of Jasper; son, Stacy Lamar Young of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Terry Lee and Rachelle Young of Jasper; sisters, Sue Ann Sweat of Jasper, Brenda Grogan of Canton; grandchildren, Kendra Gail Young of Jasper, Megan Diane Young of Cartersville, Brook Young of Rome; two great-grandchildren, Alison and DJ of Ellijay; sister-in-law, Patsy Ann Cochran; brothers-in-law, Ricky Lamar Young and Gary David Young. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Stanley Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
