William is survived by his wife, Pauline Burgess Kent of Jasper; children, Jonathan Kent of Ashburn, Virginia, Mark Kent of Sandersville, Tonya Parks Blackwell of Jasper, Josh Parks of Woodstock; special children, Carol Nunes of Buford, John Grenewicz; grandchildren, Kyle Kent of Sandersville, Kaleb Kent of Sandersville, Danielle Seay of Woodstock, Caitlin Emory of Jasper, Storm Parks of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mya Parks of California, Stone Parks of Colorado; brother and sisters, Ann and Roger Dye of Griffin, Gail and Ricky Jackson of Sandersville, Ruth Smith of Sandersville; sister-in-law, Judy Kent of Sandersville; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Johnnie Clarence Kent and Lillie Mae Kent Simpson; step dad, Bill Simpson; grandchild, Hagan Emory; brothers, Bobby Kent and James Kent.
